You won’t be hungry travelling to Taiwan because it has such an abundance of veggie food.
And buffet spreads like that are so common in Taiwan. This is Ming De located in the basement of Taipei 101 building.

There’s no menu at this organic farm. You get what’s in season and that means the freshest ingredients. No need to rack your brains deciding what to have. Here’s a peek of my favorite dish at this farm (四代務農) in Hualien, Taiwan.

Pleasantly surprised to be invited by Razlan to Ying Vegetarian, who already wrote a fantastic post about this restaurant. Afterall, how can I possibly reject my carnivorous friends that are so enthusiastic to go meatless with me? Here goes:

Eight Treasures Vegetarian (Guillemard Village)
I love spicy food and this Nonya Curry Fish is just perfect since it’s drowned in Assam sauce and ladies finger/ okra.

During my travels on the junk to Halong Bay and hiking terrace rice fields in Sapa, I had the chance to explore some vegetarian restaurants in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Here’s the top 3 restaurants I like in Hanoi:
1. Tamarind Cafe
Tamarind is conveniently located in the heart of Old Quarters and listed in Lonely Planet too. This glass noodle salad is refreshing especially after a bit of shopping in the tropical heat.

Apart from good shopping, Mongkok is home to a number of delicious vegetarian eateries and Greenfeel Vegetarian (素食一家) is one of them. It’s location might be a little out of the way, but it’s definitely worth the trip.
For starters, you could try the seafood salad. Strips of crunchy cucumber and carrot with vegetarian meat topped with sesame seeds and chili in the mix. Refreshing appetizer to wake your taste buds.
Greenfeel offers an eclectic selection of cuisines, from Chinese, Thai to Korean and Asia Western. Click to find out what they are.
Have you been invited to a Chinese-style wedding banquet before? While some restaurants don’t typically serve vegetarian cuisine, they would sometimes make an exception. In February, I was invited to Veronica and Wilson’s wedding (I know both of them pretty well) at Star of Canton and here’s what I had:
The first dish is usually an assortment of vegetarian meats including salad on the side which in this case is green Japanese seaweed that you usually find in sushi served here in the middle.

Japanese cuisine is popular in Hong Kong but it’s not easy to find vegetarian sushi that serves more than your usual cucumber or corn filling.
What I like about Gaia, also known as 大自然素食, is they offer mouth-watering sushi that looks so appetizing.
A big fan of avocado, this veggie eel and crab meat roll is my all time favourite.
Apart from a wide selection of Japanese sushi and noodle dishes, Gaia is also known for its Chinese cuisine.
